The LEPE Lab: AI in Experiential Learning Kickoff

As AI continues to redefine the professional landscape, Business Schools are tasked with a dual challenge: integrating AI into the curriculum while meeting evolving accreditation standards. The LEPE Lab: AI in EL is a new virtual discussion series designed specifically for the leaders navigating this shift in experiential and project-based education.

In this inaugural session, we’re moving beyond the theory to look at the "How-To":

  • The AACSB Connection: Shannon McKeen (Wake Forest) will discuss the latest accreditation updates and why the rise of AI actually increases the demand for high-impact, human-led experiential learning.

  • The Michigan Model: Megan Anda (University of Michigan) will share a look inside their AI infrastructure, including:

    • The Student AI Playbook: Guiding students on ethical and efficient tool usage.

    • Documenting AI: How to handle AI parameters within the Letter of Engagement.

    • The "AI Expert" Role: How dedicated staff "office hours" can support students in real-time during their projects.

  • Interactive Brainstorm: This is a "Lab," not a lecture. The second half of the session is dedicated to participant breakout groups to identify the most pressing AI challenges we should tackle in future sessions.

Who Should Attend? Both faculty and staff involved in experiential learning, project-based courses, and corporate relations within business schools.
